Another week that just flew by!! Actually, this was one of those weeks I was glad to see leave. :-) You know the ones I'm talking about. I am not sure if it's the fluctuation in the weather or what, but I had to deal with my old nemesis Mr. Migraine all week. Luckily, he did not get the best of me and I finished up a gorgeous custom quilt. It's off to it's home today. It'll be a nice welcome home greeting for my client who is out of town. I know she is super eager to get it bound.
It has been strange weather here. Beautiful one day, cloudy the next. Sometimes it is bright and cheery and 5 minutes later it is dark. It has made it super difficult to take good photos. I like my photos to capture the texture of the quilting, but sometimes it's impossible. So I have another little finish to share. One of mine. It's small, but I LOVE it!! Again, it was quilted in the wee hours of the night a few weeks ago when I was throwing everything on the machine but the kitchen sink!! LOL!! George Schnibbles by Carrie Nelson, but I've changed the name to Georgette because this is way to pretty to be a George!
Endless Summer runner. The fabrics are Pom Pom de Paris by French General for Moda. I used some Primitive Muslins, Tallow from Primitive Gatherings for the background. My favorite and go-to background fabric!! The green is from Fa La La also by French General. Even though I used Pom Pom in both Georgette and Endless Summer runner, they have totally different looks by just adding the green. I love that you can interchange and mix so many of the fabric collections from French General to create a completely new look!! The primitive eggs are another gorgeous creation from the talented Denise of KKL Primitives!!
Right now Georgette is hanging on the wall, but she looks good in other places too. You can see the quilting a little better from this angle.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend!
