2026 Quilt Block Ornament! Our 9th Anniversary quilt block ornament tradition.

The Tree of Life quilt block. As always, it is my new favorite!

The Tree of Life is a universal and ancient symbol representing interconnectedness, growth, strength and the cycle of life.

Interconnectedness: The roots go deep into the earth to draw strength, the trunk provides a present foundation, and the branches reach toward the sky, signifying that all life is linked.

Family and Ancestry: Roots symbolize past generations and heritage, while branches and leaves represent new growth, children, and future lineages.

Renewal and Resilience: Trees weather storms, lose leaves in winter, and bloom again in spring, making them a lasting emblem of rebirth, endurance, and hope

The tree of life motif is universally recognized as a symbol of healing, immortality and protection. It became a fashionable motif printed and painted on cotton textiles for bed coverings and bed hangings, often imported to Europe beginning in the 17th Century. The tree of life, or a stylized version of it, was the favored quilt design of American quiltmakers.

Great for a gift exchange, stocking stuffer, or treat for yourself! Each year, we introduce a new dated quilt block. It’s a wonderful tradition to begin collecting. Limited number of ornaments available. Once they sell out, they are gone forever.
