It is officially Fall. Shockingly, I actually have all my fall decor out as well. The girls and I finished decorating last weekend. They live for it…Scott not so much. His job is to bring all the boxes up from downstairs. He was getting a little restless when I kept telling him there was more…and more…and more..
Finally, a little finish of my own. Honeycomb Schnibbles by Carrie Nelson for Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co. You can purchase the pattern here. This is an awesome pattern to feature the fabric. I thought it would look cool in reproductions, but I think it looks great in any fabric. I quilted this last winter. I had the binding attached, just not hand sewn to the back yet. Not sure what I was waiting for?? Probably just the time to sit and stitch. I finally had some stitching time while the girls were at dance.
I pieced this last year and posted about it here. I love decorating with quilts!! I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to have some quilts to enjoy that are mine. Not just “mine” until I have to send them home. π
I used a couple of charm packs of Comfort – Collections for a Cause by Moda. The background is Primitive Muslin by Primitive Gatherings. Big surprise there!! π The fabric looks so nice in my house. The colors are perfect!
The quilting is just a freehand allover swirl. It is fast, easy and looks nice. Like I have time to custom quilt anything of my own?? Some day maybe. π I am just happy to be able to slip something of my own on the machine between client quilts. Threads are So Fine, top and bobbin. Batting is Dream Blend. I love the look after it is washed and dried!
Halloween is so fun to decorate for!! I have things sprinkled allover the house.
I need to write some of my spells down. Too bad I don’t know any quilting spells. π
Of course, I have to have a crow or two. I layered a vintage jar with black beans and candy corn. Another little idea stemmed from Pinterest. I love me some Pinterest! Most of the decorations are from my friend Daphne’s shop here. Her shop looks amazing right now. I could spend a fortune on pumpkins alone!!
Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully, I will have a few more posts this week. π
Beautiful. My favorite time of year too! I want to get to the pumpkin patch very soon and I need to decorate now that I'm home again. Now about those spells…eye of newt, etc…
What a great quilt!! And your decorating looks awesome! Very inspiring, thanks for sharing!
I love that quilt and what great fabrics! I have that pattern and should make one for myself! Love the Schnibbles patterns. I also love Carrie's directions.
I got all my fall decorations out too since its starting to feel a lot like fall!
Hope you have a great week. So nice to see your post. I should really get back to blogging. I'm a real slacker;)

Love it! I love the Fall too but we are still in blast furnace summer here. It better turn around soon because I am melting fast. I just love anything Primitive Gatherings. I am going to a big quilt show in Northern California and was so glad they weren't going to have a booth, I may have had to rob a bank if they did. LOL!
Love the quilt and love the cupboard and fun things on top – shoot love the whole arrangement is great. Don't get me started on Pintrest – it's just chalk full of ideas.
Fall is my favorite time of year, too. Your decorations are great, and I love your honeycomb quilt.
Your Quilt is fantastic.

Your fall decor is so fun!!
Your quilt is beautiful and I just love the allover swirl. That is the next long arm pattern, I am going to try and master. I think the loops and double loops are mastered. I also love your fall decorations. I really need to try and get mine out soon! I wanted that done before October 1 and I am running out of time for that!
Love your quilt! Beautiful colors…I need a little cabinet like you have, but first must find the time to shop for one! No time! lLoL thank you for sharing!
Love your new quilt and ALL of your fall decorations!
That is a beautiful quilt for fall and it looks beautiful as a backdrop for your displays.

Your decorations are always beautiful – you have the decorating gene. π
That is a darling quilt, Linda, and I love your decorating, but I feel Scott's pain, lol…I'm far too lazy to decorate like that!
If I was doing a cheer it would be adorable, adorable, adorable! Love the quilt and the decorations, Linda! Wanna come do my house??
Cheers!
Beautiful quilt! Love your Halloween books! I need some for my house!
I love your Honeycomb Schnibbles…it's wonderful!
Your decorations are great. I wish I had energy to decorate for the seasons. I just don't. Love your quilt. It's gorgeous!
Oh my if I didn't go to Daphne's website and saw Homer MI…. I grew up near Homer MI, our school was in the same league as theirs for many sports… I didn't know Homer MI could produce something as pretty as Daphne's website…. HOLY COW… I remember farms and tractors… in that town…. I will have to visit when I go back home…
