Ready for Christmas? I would say I am not mentally ready more than anything. This has been such a seemingly long year, yet it feels like it should be December 1st still. Anyone else feel the same?
Red and white quilts are my absolute favorite! I think most of you have guessed that by now. I was fortunate enough to quilt a few recently for clients. I always pretend they are my quilts until I have to ship them off to their rightful homes. 🙂 This beauty was pieced by my client, Kim. Kim is a prolific quilter and all her tops are amazing!! I love how her quilt looks with the quilting!
Kim chose the Baptist Fan, which I think is the perfect complement to her quilt! Love. Edge to edge quilting services availble here.
Although, I love to express my creativity through my custom quilting, I have grown to appreciate edge-to-edge quilting so much. The love, care and attention to detail I give my custom quilts, I do the same for e2e quilts that are sent to me for quilting. There is definitely a skill to computerized edge-to-edge quilting. I treat them ALL as if they are show quilts. Sometimes I have to perform what I refer to as “quilt surgery”…meaning I have to remove a dark, pesky tread showing through from under the fabric.
I highly recommend this tool to ALL quilters, not just longarmers. It is the Soft Touch Tread Pic available in my shop here. I can easily pluck them out without damage to the fabric. It is a miracle tool!
I am often asked what products I use on a day-to-day basis, especially what I mark my quilts with. I put together an essential set of all my favorites. Products that I use every single day. You save a little on buying the set versus buying individually. Available here.
I am adding goodies to my online shop every day. I do not want to sell just anything. I am only adding products that I use and love.
Holiday Sale is still going on!! With Free Shipping on orders over $50. Shop here.

I love all Christmas movies! Especially, It’s A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol and Home Alone to name a few. BUT this year I have to say my fave is Elf! I could recite it word for word! I am looking forward to hearing your favorite Christmas movie!
Ornaments are getting limited, but still available to purchase here. Also, be sure to add your email to “Stay in the Know” to you know…stay in the know. 🙂
Although things are a bit different this year (or a lot… wink), I hope you are all enjoying the Season.
LOL, I’ve been binge watching all my fav Christmas movies, but I think mine is Elf, too. Only because of the song that they sing in the shower. I absolutely love it, makes my heart melt.
I really don’t have a favorite Christmas movie, I’ve not been much of a movie watcher over the years. Sad huh? For the sake of choosing something I’ll go with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. 😉
My favorite Christmas movie is one I havent seen in years. It is called “The Littlest Angel” and starred Johnny Whittaker from the tv show Family affair. It was filmed in 1969. I teared up every time I saw it.
It’s A Wonderful Life is my favorite ( the colored version).
My favorite Christmas movie is Frosty the Snowman.
My favorite Christmas movie of all time is “Miracle on 34th Street “. I like both the original and the remake, though the original is the one I choose to watch first. I’ve loved seeing the beautiful quilts you’ve worked on.
this is a pretty design, It looks so Christmas. I love the old Christmas movies. Its a Wonderful Life is my fav could watch it over and over, yje 1st time I seen it was when I was a child, been hooked ever since.
I love White Christmas, but I love to watch all the other ones mentioned above. Most of all I love red and white quilts. This one on your blog is stunning. Quilting truly adds so much to the actual quilt top.
My all time favorite holiday movie is “Holiday Inn” released 1942, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, and Marjorie Reynolds… more current I love (in no particular order) Charlie Brown Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer etc. Oh and lets not forget all of the sappy Hallmark Christmas movies. My question is about the Bohin marker? I have the Bohin mechanical pencils and LOVE LOVE LOVE them but what is yours, the lead looks bigger? Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Years
Hands down, my favorite is Elf! Ever since the first time I saw it with my children at the theaters in 2003. And yes I can recite it word for word too. In fact, it’s probably the most quoted movie within our family. Year round. Lol.
And it warms my heart even more now that my sweet grandbaby Zoey watches it(in a loop) daily this time of year. 😀
Watching Elf, anytime of year . “That’s my favorite”
White Christmas is my favorite, but I’ve watched Home Alone several times this year. I’ve laughed out loud every time! The Polar Express also.
Christmas Vacation! Love you’d blog!
I love several but my favorite is Christmas Vacation.
Home Alone is my favorite Christmas movie- however I do look forward to the new Hallmark Christmas movies every year! Especially this year!
My favorite Christmas movie is The Santa Claus with Tim Allen. I can watch that movie over and over all year long! I also love The Santa Claus 2 where he has to find a wife by Christmas Eve. My favorite Christmas “cartoon” is The Grinch! My son and I watch it no less than 5 times during the season, an yes we can recite the show 😄. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Favorite Christmas movie is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Love love red and white quilts.
It’s a wonderful Life and Christmas vacation are my favorite movies
I love White Christmas, Home Alone, and a Wonderful Life. Thank you for sharing all of your creativity and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I think it would have to be “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.
My favorite Christmas movie is It’s a Wonderful Life. Reminds me how fragile Life is!
1951 Scrooge in black and white is still my favorite Christmas movie.
My favorite Christmas movie is still White Christmas with Bing, Rosemary, Danny K. It gives me the holiday spirit.
I just love all your quilting photos. Please enter me in your giveaway!
My favorite Christmas movie is actually Charlie Brown’s Christmas or Home Alone!!
My favorite Christmas movie hands down is A Christmas Story. So many memories in this movie. It reminds me of when I was a child. So much fun.
Elf is my favorite for this year. I have already watched it twice. Merry Christmas 🎅
I’ve found myself watching Christmas movies every afternoon lately. My favorite is An American Christmas Carol. I don’t know how many people have seen it. It was made for TV many years ago and starts Henry Winkler. The setting is in the same county in NH where I live but it was filmed in Canada. It’s a wonderful period reimagintion of A Christmas Carol.
“White Christmas” is my favorite Christmas movie. I’ve been watching this movie every year, since I was a little girl. I still “watch” it every year (much to my husband’s chagrin). I actually don’t need to watch the screen any more to know what’s going on!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
White Christmas is my all-time favorite Christmas movie. You’d think because it’s my favorite that both of my daughters have seen it correct? Nope. My older daughter has never seen it but my younger daughter has watched numerous times with me! No daughter is alike and that’s a good thing!! 🙃
My favorite is the Muppets Christmas Carole. Love your quilting!
My classic movie would be Christmas Eve on Sesame Street.
I started watching it with my children about 40 years ago when they were infants. The sweet, childlike innocence of Big Bird’s search for answers brings out the true meaning of Christmas for children of all ages. We watch it over and over as we decorate our tree and cookies. Most times a sing along accompanies the work. We never grow tired of it.
Beautiful quilting and a lovely red and white quilt collection! I enjoy all of the classic Christmas movies, TV shows and the Hallmark movies, but ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ is my all-time favorite!
My favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone. I truly love them all! Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you for a chance to win.
There are so many great Christmas movie classics I love to watch and many of you have named them. I love the Bishop’s Wife, too. I haven’t watched it yet this year, but plan to do so tonight – Christmas Eve.
My all time favorite Christmas movie is It’s A Wonderful Life! I watch every year!
Your red and white quilts are all so beautiful! ❤️ You are such a talented quilter. !MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I love the old classics, like It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas, but, I am also one of the ones who believe Die Hard is a Christmas movie as well and enjoy it as a change. merry Christmas to you and your family..
I love all the beautiful red and white quilts. My favorite Christmas movie is The Nativity. Merry Christmas, Linda!
