I think I am MIQ- Missing In Quilting.  I have been quilting like crazy and avoiding the computer this week.  I find that I get a whole lot more accomplished if I avoid the computer a little.  Sometimes a lot like I did this week.  I even stayed away from my email until last night!!  The weather here has been nothing short of spectacular!  It’s been in the mid to high 80s!!  So instead of getting on the computer first thing in the morning, I’ve been taking Sarge on beautiful morning runs.  Much needed ones too, seems like he and I packed on a few extra lbs. over winter.  🙂

After dropping the girls off at dance last Friday, I decided to stroll through downtown Marshall.  The weather was perfect for a walk and window shopping.  Well, I did a little more than window shopping.  I found a new to me shop called Tracy’s Primitive Creations & Soy Creations.  Tracy does not have a website, but she is on Facebook if you’d like to check out her shop.  It is an awesome shop!  Full of primitive goodies, antiques and vintage items.  I had a wonderful time wondering around in her shop.  Maybe too good of a time because I picked up a few items.  My first antique quilts!!

Look at this gorgeous Dresden quilt!!!  It is in amazing shape.  It is big too.  A queen!!  Next…

Antique Apple Core!!!!  It is BEAUTIFUL!!!  This one is pretty old, so it has a little more wear and discoloration, but still in amazing shape!!!  It is quilted with a Baptist Fan pattern.  I LOVE it!!!  Next…

Another beauty!!!!  I love the pattern!!  I know you are all wondering how much I paid for my 3 new beauties.  Do I dare tell you??  I paid under $120 for all 3!

Don’t they look right at home?  I think so.

I picked a few other goodies while I was there too.

Loving that vintage scale!!!  Loving the other things too! 🙂  I’ll need to post pics of how I decorated with them all soon.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
